I spent a week in canggu doing surf and surf skate lessons with mai surfing. ari is an amazing teacher especially for intermediate surfers really wanting to progress. he is patient, knowledgeable and kind. highly recommend!

the mai surf school is great and caring surf school. the coaches offer rich surfing knowledge and it felt always safe and fun to be with them in the water! all in all i loved all of my 17 sessions with them and will definitely ask for more when i am back on bali! verdict: highly recommended!

There are many good surfers but only a handful of good surf teachers and Ari is one of them. I took 4 intermediate classes with Ari and learned more than in all my previous classes combined. What’s more I had great fun. Will definitely book a class with him next time I’m around.
